Escape Velocity began with Tyler Otto’s passion for helping people make sense of their financial lives. When his brother, Trevor Otto, joined him in the work, that individual passion became a shared family commitment.

Together, they set out to help people make smarter financial decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and build lives of intention. What started as Tyler’s vision grew into something they could build together—and ultimately, a firm centered on serving families for the long term.

Today, Escape Velocity Financial Planning has grown beyond where it began, but the commitment that started it all remains at the heart of everything we do: helping families make the most of the opportunities in front of them while preparing thoughtfully for whatever lies ahead.
